We hold weekly meetings Saturday morning between 8:45 to 10am (Subscribe to Calendar). The video conferencing is an open participation facilitated by the chair with real-time messaging and content sharing. There are  several features available through the Zoom App that are not available using dial-in alone. We encourage members to participate through Zoom. Register Here

• Members can participate in polling and Q&A
• Members can use virtual hand-raising to be recognized
• Members can share content, videos or music
• Members may be asked to participate in breakout rooms

• We are welcoming people from 8:45am to 9am
• Please stay muted if you’re not speaking
• The chair will manage the conversation flow
• You can still raise your hand in video meetings
• Use the chat box to share comments and links
• We will post the agenda in the chat box

The weekly meeting agenda will be sent out Thursday/Friday and will include a link to documents or materials that will be presented during the meeting. The newsletter will also include information about other upcoming events.

Sharing information, opportunities, and ideas is a core part of the collective. Members can use the following ways to share content with all members of the collective:

• Forward to the tacomablackcollective@gmail.com (this process is currently delayed)
• Post on the Black Collective Facebook Group 
• Bring up the topic at the meeting and share the information in the chat box
• Drop handouts in the Black Collective folder of materials during or prior to the meeting

We recommend using the Collective Facebook Group for open comments and discussion or Rooms for virtual meetings with up to 8 people. Strategic committees may have their own meeting times that are opportunities to participate.
